Funding Farming Wallets

PreviousWallet ManagementNextWallet management

Last updated 1 year ago

We recommend funding each farming wallet with more than 0.1 ETH, or 5 SOL on Solana

🚨 Super important: Any deposit to the farming wallet should be done either with a unique web3 wallet or from a CEX (centralized exchange). No web3 wallet should be used to fund more than 1 farming wallet as this could mark these recipient farming wallets as Sybil.

When you are funding your Farming Wallets, easiest way is to fund them all from CEX. You can fund all of them from the same Exchange.

If you are not funding from CEX, make sure you don't fund multiple Farming Wallets from a single self-custody wallet like Metamask, or they can be linked together!

Funding options across all EVM Farming chains

When you fund the farming wallet for the first time you can:

  1. Send funds to your farming wallet on Farming chain.

  2. Send funds on the Ethereum Mainnet and use the bridge function to bridge the funds to Farming chain with the official bridges (there is an extremely high likelihood that usage of the official bridges will be one of the airdrop requirements). (Excluding Solana)

  3. Send funds on Arbitrum or Optimism and use the bridge function to bridge your funds to the Farming chain via XY Finance bridge. Bridging fee will be cheaper fees than when bridging from mainnet. (Excluding Solana)

Funding Solana wallets

Solana farming operates a bit differently than EVM. Instead of bridging, you can directly deposit SOL into your Solana wallet.

On Solana, farming involves less token swapping compared to EVM chains. Instead, it focuses more on providing liquidity and opening long and short positions within the protocols the bots are farming on Solana. As a result, the recommended SOL balance for farming is 5-10 SOL.

Step 1. Deposit ETH/SOL to Farming Wallet

Step 2. Bridge the ETH from another chain to Farming chain (excluding Solana)

Done!

Farming will start automatically at the optimal time (within 72 hours) after you have 0.1 ETH on the Farming chain.

You can also use batch withdrawal on exchanges like to withdraw funds to multiple farming wallets at once.

On Solana, your funds can remain in liquidity pools for extended periods to accumulate . The duration of this depends on the specific protocol being farmed.
